On October 9, 2019, the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of the SE (BACC-SE) held its Annual Meeting – Elections to the Board of Directors at Fogo de Chao in Buckhead with the presence of Honorary Chairman of the Board, Consul General Carlos Henrique de Abreu. Following the elections, the board members were greeted by members and prospective members of BACC-SE for a delicious taste of churrasco and other delicious appetizers from Fogo de Chao.
During its Annual Meeting and Elections, BACC-SE added four new members to the 15 total Board Members to serve for the period 2019-2021. The new Members are:
- Cesar Vence – City of Atlanta Office of International Business
- Fernanda Kirchner – Georgia Department of Economic Development
- Gene King – Sr Managing Director Sequence Holdings, LLC
- Harold Milk – President & CEO at BeOn Group
The current members will stay on the board for one more year:
- Marcelo Bernal – DNM Partners
- Ney Corsino – Barco, Inc.
- Rodrigo Dantas – EY
- Gabriele Miotto – Emory Aesthetic Center
- Nelson Mikovenyi – Delta Air Lines, Inc.
- Julio Rivera – Delta Air Lines, Inc.
- Danila Rizo Palmieri – Connect Solutions, LLC.
- Ron Slotin – Brightwell Talent Solutions
- Gustavo Zanette – KaMin LLC
- Paulo Wenceslau – PW Intelligence LLC
- Maria Luiza Pinho – Georgia State University
Lucia Jennings will take the role of Interim Chairman until further notice.
This year, BACC-SE has been very active bringing excellent events to connect Brazil and the Southeast. In partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, they organized the Annual Brazil Outlook in January and the Global Fintech Index Adoption in September. Also, in partnership with the Brazilian Consulate, BACC-SE organized the Import/Export Workshop for Entrepreneurs and How to Sell your Products Online for small business. See More ⇒
